Well, we finally managed to get the boat right side up. The cab is welded back on, and the windows are cut out so you can at least get an idea of what we were trying to achieve. The starlings made major bombing runs on the hull when were were away for a couple weeks, but that will all get cleaned up when we grind and polish the hull prior to painting it. We aligned the bunks on our saltwater double dipped trailer, and it seems to fit really well. We mounted the Bravo 1 performance outdrive, exhaust system, and steering cylinder which basically sealed in the hull. Naturally we were curious as to whether or not we would have any leaks, so we loaded it up and headed down to park it in the river for a while to test it out. Here's some pictures we took on the way out.

You can clearly see the large opening at the rear of the cab, so we can keep a close eye on our towed pilots. The forward sloping windows make the cabin larger, eliminate glare, and look just a bit different from everything else out there.

The sharp deep V and ample chine should make this boat handle well in rough water.

Here you can see the walkways to access the shore easily to toss out the drogues and towline, as well as the hard points welded in along the sides to mount the winch drums and hydraulic motors. We need to weld in a few floor supports, the fuel tank supports, and a dash then most of the welding will be done. We plan on sending the hull out to be foam filled next week, so with luck it will be in the water in less than a month.
We'll post more pictures as the tanks go in, the decks go on and the motor gets mounted in place. Oh, by the way in case you're curious, it didn't leak a drop.
